Most people that are involved in the Scooter community know
Matt Mckeen as one of the best street riders of all time. From double whipping Wallenberg
to truckdrivering Love, he has definitely made a name for himself. Matt was born in Virginia and now lives in Philadelphia,
recently he put out a Full-length street film named “The Philly-files” which
featured himself, Yara Haynes, Greg Cohen, Logan Fuller, and Steve Fales. His part
in this full-length was beyond anything anybody had ever seen, not only did he lip
slide a 15 stair handrail but he did half-cab whip into a cobblestone bank. I
have only seen people ride cobblestone hips or ramps in skateboarding but for
him to be able to translate that to scootering has influenced many other riders
to become more creative in their own riding. Matt is sponsored by Addict
Scootering and has his own signature parts such as handlebars and a deck.
Recently Mckeen has been in El Paso filming with the Elyts team for an edit captivating
all of the amazing spots El Paso has. Also he was recently sponsored by a new
company named VEX which creates shoes for people who scooter.
